It’s finally Spring, and I’m excited to spend some more time in the sun. I also think of Spring as a season where everything feels brand new again. For me, there’s no better way to celebrate the beginning of Spring than with an updated self-care routine with new products that focuses on getting ready for all the springtime activities in the sun.
Self Care Products for the Spring
A New Skincare Product to Welcome Spring
I have a pretty solid skincare routine, but I still like to change some products I use daily when the weather changes. One of the products I introduced into my routine a couple of weeks ago was the LiftActiv Supreme H.A Wrinkle Corrector from Vichy. This face and eye serum product from Vichy has 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, and Vichy Volcanic Water to help with anti-aging and plump skin with a visible filling effect. The LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Corrector is also fragrance-free, paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and safe for all skin types.
I only introduced the LiftActiv Supreme H. A Wrinkle Corrector from Vichy a couple weeks ago. LiftActiv Supreme H.A Wrinkle Corrector is clinically proven to show a 47% decrease in wrinkles and a 60% decrease in fine lines in 6 weeks. I can’t wait to report back with my own results.
Spring DIY Manicure and Pedicure
I don’t always have the time to go out to a salon to get a manicure and pedicure from a salon, but its easy to fit in a DIY manicure and pedicure into my busy mom life. Usually, I do my nails after the kids go to bed, while streaming a show or a movie.
Nails
I first make sure my nails are clean with nail polish remover for my fingernails, and then I start off by using the Kerasal Multi-Purpose Nail Repair solution. The Multi-Purpose Nail Repair formula helps improve nail appearance by reducing discoloration, smoothing the surface of the nail, and giving brittle nails much-needed hydration. The product comes in a bottle that resembles a nail polish bottle, and the clear solution is easy to brush on and helps the nail restore a healthy appearance. I plan to continue using the Kerasal Multi-Purpose Nail Repair for up to 3 to 6 months to see the full results. If you want to try out the nail repair, check out these coupons.
Feet
I have also been using Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair to help my dry and cracked winter feet. It is an exfoliating moisturizer that hydrates and moisturizes dry feet and exfoliates dead skin away. I was impressed after the first application on the foot repair. I noticed a difference in my cracked and dry feet pretty quickly. My feet felt renewed, smooth, and ready to take on the skin. Kerasal does say that for best results, cover your feet with cotton socks overnight. I did this, and sleeping with socks on was worth it to see the visible results.
Polish
After I give my nails and feet some TLC, I’ll start to paint my nails. In the past, I have struggled to find nail polish to use at home that is long-lasting, chip-resistant, and easy to apply. Enter in Halo Hand nail polishes. I love that Halo Hand prides itself on providing nail polish that is non-toxic and clean. The color Get Orchidized is perfect for any spring outfit. After doing my nails, I had to wash my hair and do dishes; I am happy to report that my new polish survived the work I put my nails through. There were no chips or visible faults in the paint.
Halo Hand releases limited-edition nail polishes every season to help their customers keep their nails on-trend. You can even subscribe to their seasonal manicure kit and have new polishes delivered to your house every three months. Also, by subscribing to their seasonal manicure kit, you get a 15% discount!

Spring Time Means It Is Time for Shorts
It’s short season in California and that means time to shave those legs, at least for me! I started to use Tree Hut Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil while shaving in the shower and it is so nice. I’ve been using the Coconut Lime, but Tree Hut Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil also comes in a Moroccan Rose scent. Formulated with Certified Shea Butter, soothing Oat Extract, and a blend of natural oils, these shave oils are great even for sensitive skin. The best part of the shave oil is that it doesn’t clog the razor. I consider that a win.
I love wearing sandals with shorts for an easy, casual, perfect for a spring day look. Recently I added the REEF Pool Float Sandal to my shoe collection. They are the perfect shoe to welcome spring. These REEF sandals have a padded footbed, oversized straps, a fun palm tree design on the footbed. You can also buy them in two fun colors Coral Palm and Yellow Palm. I love that these flip flops are budget friendly at $35 and can be found easily online at reef.com.
With the Spring, Try New Things
To me, springtime is the perfect time of year to start trying new things. A couple weeks ago, I recieved a new book titled “A Year of Weeks: 52 Awesome Weeks of Trying New Things” by Erica Root. This is a book full of charming illustrations and inspiring prompts. The book, designed as a road map for a year of trying new things like drinking more water to learning hand lettering. Erica Root breaks each day into bite-sized morsels and accomplishable goals, like dusting the small corners of your home. “A Year of Weeks” gives the reader opportunities to have moments of joy with engaging activities and imagination-sparking illustrations one week at a time.
“A Year of Weeks” would also be a lovely gift for someone in your life that enjoys working on mindful activities and mindfulness. The book from Running Press is available for pre-order.
