The third trimester is in full swing over here; complete with exhaustion and being uncomfortable. But I can’t blame it all on this pregnancy because running after a toddler is probably what’s doing me in. Some days, I’m on it with planned play dates, errands, and outside time with Rowan. Yet other times, we’re inside the house because I need the rest and Rowan is left to his own devices. Lately, Rowan has taken to playing with Shape Mags Magnetic Titles all day.
This post is sponsored by Shape Mags , but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
The Perfect Toy?
I’m picky about the toys we keep around the house. I love toys that encourage creativity and imaginative play for Rowan. Also, I just don’t like unnecessary clutter – toys that aren’t played with are not stored in our house. With all that being said, Shape Mags get my stamp of approval!
Shape Mags are magnetic titles that come in a variety of shapes and colors for kids (and adults) to build anything they want. The possibilities are endless and imaginative play is encouraged! For Rowan, this means building garages and trailers for his cars. I also love that Shape Mags are easy to travel with. We will definitely be packing them when we go on our many road trips this year.
Playtime with Shape Mags
We had just got back home from a trip when the Shape Mags arrived at our door. The timing was perfect. Both Brady and I were tired from traveling and of course Rowan was ready to play. (Side note: if anyone figures out how to bottle toddler energy, I will drink it with my morning coffee. )
It was Rowan’s first experience with magnetic titles, so we all sat on the ground and started building. Rowan got the hang of it pretty quickly and built his first garage. He played with them until nap time and got them back out as soon as he woke up. The Shape Mags have lived in our living room for two weeks now because they are the first thing Rowan wants to play with in the mornings and the last thing he wants to do at night. They been used so much that I haven’t found a home for them in the Playroom/Office space that we have.
If you are looking for a new toy for your toddler or a gift for another toddler in your life, try out Shape Mags. They can be found on Amazon and are available through prime.

Yesss! I totally want to get these for our daughter, it’s actually something she’ll play with for long periods of time. We try to avoid getting her too many toys since they take up so much room and she gets bored of them within a couple of weeks, but these look like they’d be a lot of fun! Btw, I love your blog!
