I’m calling this mom uniform Monday.

It’s also no secret that I have been obsessed with these Old Navy Power Straight Jeans, and I’m bringing them with me to 2020.
One of my newer obsessions is this J Crew sweater blazer. I found mine on Poshmark New with Tags, but I’m thinking about stalking J Crew for a sale because I think I want the grey and/or a black one. ⠀
Because I live in California, this J Crew Sweater Blazer is perfect as outerwear. I can throw on a thicker sweater on colder days, but most days, I wear a short sleeve top under the sweater blazer and call it a day.
But you know what the best part about this outfit is that it’s buildable and customizable. And you probably have something that looks similar to this in your closet. Maybe I’ll share multiple ways to wear this sweater blazer soon.
I’m trying to be more mindful about what I add to my wardrobe this year, and it feels right to share that with you! I want clothes to last and not just be for one event. I want to buy better and therefore buy less. I want to look at secondhand first to see what I can find instead of going to the store. But will I still shop? Yes. Just in a different way than I had before. So I’m concentrating on the basics for a while since I really need to rebuild my wardrobe after two pregnancies and nursing for a little more than 3 years altogether. ⠀
Is there anything you are looking to add or replace in your closet? ⠀
