A month ago, I said to my husband, “I don’t know if I want to do an Easter basket for Rowan.”
I should know myself by now. I always cave and go a little overboard. This year, I seriously shopped for it on Easter morning. Thank you, Walgreens and The Dollar Store, for being open on holiday for last-minute moms like me.
Here’s what I decided on:
- Fubbles™ Bubble Blastin’ Machine – Rowan loves bubbles but can’t figure out how to blow them, so this is as much a gift for Rowan as it is for me!
- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Great Day To Play Coloring and Activity Book – Coloring is one of Rowan’s favorite activities, and he loves Mickey Mouse. Win-win. It’s also a plus that I found it at the Dollar Tree.
- Cars 2 Play Pack Grab & Go! – An activity pack includes crayons, stickers, and a mini coloring book. I think this pack will be fantastic to have for outings and travel.
- Hot Wheels Car – Rowan is obsessed with Hot Wheels cars! They are cheap, and they easily fit in his hands. I don’t even know how many we have anymore.
What did you put in your Easter Baskets? Are you a plan ahead, Mom, or a last-minute one like me?
Maybe next year, I’ll get my act together and buy some cute things on Etsy!

Hi Bibiana!
Thanks! Rowan enjoyed everything!!
I did something super simple this year as well. I just did a sun hat, a plastic baseball bat and ball, and a book. My 2 year old absolutely loved it! Hope you had a great Easter.
Hi Shelia,
Thanks we had a great Easter!! Oh, a sun hat is a great idea! Hope you all had a great Easter!!
Those bubbles look so fun! I bought a few things weeks ago and then we get the candy the week of. Cute basket love!
