I love my AirPods, but I have been having problems with the AirPod sound quality. A couple of years ago, I got them for my birthday, and I can’t imagine doing life without them. I could be addicted to my AirPods…it’s okay. However, over the course of the last year, my AirPods have been getting quieter and quieter. I had to listen to podcasts on max volume, and even then, if I struggled to hear the media coming from my AirPods at times. So I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Since my AirPods came into my life, I would take a toothbrush, our tech devices toothbrush, and brush the lingering ear wax away. But what if there was ear wax stuck inside the AirPod? What do we do then? I started asking around.
A Weird But Effective Way To Improve Your AirPods Sound Quality
A friend told me to brush and then suck the speaker part of my AirPod with my mouth until I felt air coming through the speaker and then brush them again. It was worth a try. I mean, AirPods are pricey; I really didn’t want to buy another pair. So, I did what any person addicted to listening to podcasts, audiobooks, and music would do, I put the AirPods in my mouth and sucked.
And it worked. The volume output is back to normal and my iPhone is no longer screaming at me that I am damaging my ears by listening to everything on MAX volume.
Please don’t ask me where the gunk goes. I don’t know and I don’t want to think about it. All I know is that my AirPod sound quality is back. Do you think you will try this hack?
