As a work from home mom, I like to work out whenever it works best for me. Sometimes, I work out when in the morning before the kids wake up, sometimes when during naptime, sometimes I work out with the kids, or after bedtime when everyone is asleep. Luckily, there’s YouTube, available for me 24/7 and for free. I wanted to share a few of my favorite YouTube Channels that I have loved working out too. Some channels have no-equipment workouts, and others require small things like hand weights and an exercise ball.
I hope this helps you work out at home when you can’t leave the house. There’s a little something for everyone. So throw on some workout clothes and get ready to push play.

Blogilates
I have been following Casey Ho on Youtube since 2013. She is upbeat and pairs all of her pilates based workouts to upbeat pop music. Everyday Casey makes a playlist of workout videos you can follow for a full-body workout, but her single videos are perfect for quick workouts too. I usually lay out a yoga mat when I work out with the Blogilates youtube channel, but no other equipment is needed. Plus, if you live in an apartment, Casey has some apartment-friendly workouts, so you don’t disturb the downstairs neighbor.

Yoga With Adriene
When I was a month away from college graduation, I learned that I was a few credits short of graduating. It was a bummer, but I still walked at the ceremony and took a yoga class at a local community college over summer to receive my diploma. It was a blessing in disguise. I ended up loving yoga, and a summer semester’s worth of classes was pretty cheap compared to the local yoga studios. Since I was broke and about to get married, I turned to Youtube, and there I found Adriene. I love her simple approach to leading yoga, how she focuses on breathing, and the friendly vibe she has about her. Yoga is usually equipment free, but I always enjoy a yoga mat. Adriene also uses a sometimes uses a yoga block or an extra pillow in her videos sometimes.
Below is the intro video for a 30 days of Yoga challenge Adriene recently put together. See the whole playlist here.

The Fitness Marshall
Has the dance fitness trend hit your town yet? High Fitness is all the rage where I live, but getting to a High Fitness Class hasn’t been easy. When I was trying to get back into working out after Piper was born, I stumbled on The Fitness Marshall’s channel, and I loved what I found. These dance workouts include high energy from the instructor Caleb and fun dance moves to good music. Throw on your dancing shoes and get some cardio in. The channel also makes two playlists of workout videos every week, a Sweat Set, which is a full work out and a Speed Sweat.
Some of The Fitness Marshall’s videos are not kid-friendly, but Caleb has a kid-friendly playlist that can be found here. These videos contain no adult language or moves but please use your own discretion.

Heather Robinson
The YouTube channel led by fitness instructor Heather Robinson is relatively new to me. At the beginning of the year, Brady wanted to start to get back in shape, and I was looking for a workout we could do together after the kids have gone to bed. I found the channel at the perfect time since Heather just started a free 12-week workout program. The videos are full-length workout videos and, most of the time, require two hand weights and a yoga ball, Brady and I also use our yoga mats. Heather puts together such a great workout complete with a warm-up and cool down.
